Meet our parents

Behind every Rocky Mountain Yorkies puppy are the wonderful dogs who make our program possible. Each of our parents is carefully chosen not only for their beauty, but for their temperament, personality, and the loving companionship they bring to those around them.

Our dogs are family first. Whether they live with us or are treasured members of our guardian homes, they are raised as beloved pets and given the love, attention, and care they deserve.

We are passionate about the joy dogs bring into our lives — the comfort, laughter, and lifelong bond they create with their families. We are so thankful for each of our mamas and dads and the special qualities that make them who they are.

Conformation: Baby doll face with a short snout, tiny ears, short legs, and a cobby body. Perfectly proportionate with a great bite and really thick hair.
Temperament: Excellent temperament. Very calm, very loving and kind. Not hyper, not overly active, not barky. He passes all of this on to his babies.
Genetics: Carries black, chocolate, and parti. He has it all and surprises us often with the colors he can produce.

Diesel is the perfect combination of structure, genetics, and temperament — truly an exceptional stud.

Rocky

About Rocky: Rocky is everything we dreamed of in a stud. It took us over a year to find him because we were so particular about temperament and looks. He is a gorgeous parti Yorkie with vibrant, non-fading colors, a tiny petite structure, perfect bite, thick hair, and the perfect personality.
Temperament: Rocky is laid-back, loving, and incredibly chill. He loves to cuddle, curls up on your lap the moment you pick him up, and is not hyper or overly active. His big, expressive eyes connect with you instantly — everyone who meets him falls in love.
Health & Testing: Rocky is AKC registered and Embark health tested along with both of his parents. He is clear for over 216 genetic tests.

Rocky is tiny in size but huge in heart. We couldn't be more proud to have him as part of our breeding program.

Zoro

About Zoro: Zoro is a beautiful parti Yorkie who also carries chocolate. He has a gorgeous coat that brushes out excellent and doesn't require a lot of maintenance. He is sturdy, produces healthy puppies, and is a wonderful example of the breed.
Puppies: Zoro consistently produces healthy puppies. His puppies tend to be slightly larger and sturdier — perfect for families looking for a well-bred, healthy companion without being on the teacup side.
Temperament: Very alert and aware, Zoro loves kids and adores anyone who comes to our home. He's a tiny jumper who loves to hop up on the couch, and he's super friendly, sweet, and knows no stranger.
Coat & Color: Zoro is non-fading — even his head stays fully vibrant black as he ages. His coat is thick, silky, and holds its beautiful color year after year.

Zoro is the perfect blend of stunning looks, wonderful temperament, and excellent health — truly a remarkable boy.

Choncho

About Choncho: Choncho is the perfect mix of sweet and sassy! His fun little attitude keeps everyone laughing. He is highly motivated by treats, loves toys, and has the perfect balance of energetic and chill — always up for adventure, but also a happy little couch potato.
Personality: Choncho is friendly, outgoing, and full of charm. He loves kids, enjoys car rides, and knows how to make himself right at home wherever he goes.
Producing: Choncho passes on his beautiful dark expression and rich coloring. He produces many puppies with dark faces and bold markings that are simply stunning and one of a kind.
Testing & Genetics: Choncho is Embark tested and clear on health. He carries both the parti gene and the chocolate gene.

Choncho is a perfect little mix and a great catch — his personality and genetics make him an incredible addition to our program.

About Molly Mae: Molly Mae is our special little girl. She is a daughter to Dolly and was everything we wanted in a Yorkie. First off, her looks are to die for. She has thick, jet black hair that grows super fast. All her points are rich gold, and she just looks like royalty. Anytime we take her anywhere, people ooh and aah over how perfect she is. Of course, we completely agree and we love her so much!
Personality: Molly Mae's personality fully matches her looks. She is very clean, very proper, and an excellent mother. Even her little steps show it — she is very cautious and gentle around the kids. She is super gentle and just a joy to have in our home.
Motherhood: Molly Mae is an excellent mother who takes amazing care of her babies. She is nurturing, attentive, and always puts her puppies first.
Health & Testing: Molly Mae is AKC registered and Embark tested, giving us confidence in her health and genetics.

Molly Mae is the total package — stunning looks, a gentle soul, and the heart of an amazing mom.

Esme

About Esme: Esme is parti perfection. This girl is absolutely gorgeous. Her hair is so thick, she has such rich colors, and her little face should be in a magazine. She's intelligent and attentive, and knows lots of cute tricks.
Personality: Esme loves everyone and draws people to her with her sweet charm and playful spirit. She's a little show-off who lives for attention and enjoys having people watch her and tell her how cute and smart she is! Even a short time with her will have you wishing she was yours. She is very loving, sweet, and truly a little best friend to everyone she meets.
Motherhood: Esme is a wonderful mother who has smaller litters, typically two puppies. With every breeding, none of her puppies (so far) have exceeded five pounds — making her a great choice for those who love smaller, healthy Yorkies.
Health & Testing: Esme is AKC registered and Embark tested, ensuring the best start for her puppies and peace of mind for our families.

Kaya

About Kaya: Kaya is a purebred Yorkie with exceptional lines — her parents are imported from Poland and Russia. She is a stunning dark chocolate girl with rich gold on her face that has remained vivid and vibrant.
Genetics: Kaya carries chocolate, traditional (tan points), parti, and chocolate parti. She produces a beautiful variety of colors, and we have been so happy with the quality and consistency of her puppies.
Coat & Color: Kaya has super, super thick hair — truly crazy thick! Her coat is a gorgeous dark chocolate, and her gold points are rich and warm. Her color has stayed true and vibrant over time.
Personality: Kaya is a very energetic girl who loves running around the house and gets her zoomies every night! She enjoys being outdoors, loves the sunspots inside to keep warm, and really looks forward to her walks.
Health & Motherhood: Kaya has excellent health and is a wonderful mother. She has produced healthy puppies with fantastic temperaments and beautiful coats. We have been extremely pleased with her and all of her litters.

Kaya is full of life, love, and personality — our sweet, spunky girl who brings so much joy wherever she goes.

Hazel

About Hazel: Hazel is as sweet as they come. She has very healthy puppies and is a wonderful mother who takes excellent care of her babies. She normally has a little larger litter and we have had excellent luck with every one of them.
Personality: Hazel is a smart girl who loves the simple things in life. She enjoys watching out the window, keeping an eye on everything going on. She loves having other dogs with her and thrives on the company and playtime they bring.
Coat & Care: Hazel has a beautiful, thick, abundant coat that is truly one of her best features. She does need groomed more often to keep her looking her best, but her hair doesn't tangle easily and brushes out beautifully every time.
Her Favorites: Hazel has her favorite toy that has to go everywhere with her and her favorite bed where she loves to curl up and relax. These little things make her feel right at home.
Our Sweet Girl: Hazel is a loving, loyal companion who brings so much joy to our home. She is the perfect mix of playful and laid-back, with a heart full of love.

Oreo

About Oreo: Oreo is an imported girl with beautiful lines from Russia and Poland. She is perfectly proportionate with a short body, short legs, and the sweetest teddy bear face.
Personality: Oreo is incredibly gentle, calm, and super sweet. She's always pretty mellow and takes dainty little steps. Her loving, easygoing nature makes her the perfect companion and a joy to have around every day.
Motherhood: Oreo is a clean and devoted mama who takes excellent care of her babies. She even cradles them in her little front arms — so adorable to watch! When she doesn't have a litter, she cuddles her favorite bunny toy like it's her little baby.
Genetics & Colors: Oreo is KB black parti and carries a beautiful variety of colors. She has produced KB parti, sable parti, sable, chocolate, and traditional puppies. We are so pleased with the variety and consistency she passes on.
Size & Heritage: None of Oreo's puppies have reached five pounds — every one has been smaller! Her lines carry small, compact genetics, giving us the tiny, healthy Yorkies we love.

Oreo is the sweetest little soul with a gentle heart and loving nature. She brings so much joy and tiny love wherever she goes.

Minnie

About Minnie: Minnie is a beautiful AKC Yorkshire Terrier and a cherished daughter of Dolly and Choncho. We love that she consistently passes on her darker facial coloring — many of her puppies have lovely black or darker faces, a trait we absolutely adore.
Personality & Training: Minnie is incredibly smart and knows all sorts of tricks! She was super easy to potty train, even as a young puppy. She is very treat and reward oriented and always eager to please her people. Her intelligence, willingness, and affectionate nature make her an absolute joy to have around.
Health & Puppies: Minnie has healthy, beautiful puppies with wonderful temperaments. She typically has litters of five and is an excellent mama. She has plenty of milk and takes exceptional care of her babies from the very beginning.
Why We Love Minnie: From her gorgeous looks to her sweet, devoted heart, Minnie is everything we love in a Yorkie. Her darker facial coloring, intelligence, and outstanding motherhood make her an essential part of our program and our family.

Stella

About Stella: Stella is a beautiful AKC Yorkie and a chocolate parti girl. She is one of Rocky's babies and has the same petite, compact body structure as her dad — very dainty with tiny little feet.
Personality: Stella has a gentle, sweet personality that is so similar to her dad. She loves to be carried and enjoys being right with her people wherever they go.
Favorite View: Stella's favorite thing to do is look out the window! While she doesn't love being outside, she loves watching everything going on. You will most often find her perched on the back of a chair, on the couch, or at the door taking in all the sights.
Beautiful Colors: She has gorgeous chocolate parti coloring with the rich dark color remaining on her back and on the top of her head. Her coat is stunning and complements her sweet expressive eyes perfectly.
Motherhood: Stella typically has smaller litters of one or two puppies. She is a wonderful mama and takes excellent care of her babies.
Why We Love Stella: Stella is the perfect mix of beauty, sweetness, and tiny perfection. She is a true little princess that we are so proud to have in our program.

Stella is small in size, but huge in heart. She loves her people, her cozy spots by the window, and being carried everywhere she goes. She is simply a joy to have in our lives.

Lilly

About Lilly: Lilly is a beautiful AKC Yorkie who weighs just 5.5 pounds. Her whole body is jet black with rich tan accents. She often has the cutest "smile" on her face that melts everyone's heart!
Personality: Lilly is a really fun, outgoing girl with a big personality. She loves toys, loves people watching her, and is definitely a little show-off! She wants to be noticed and will bring her toy to you, ready to play.
Playful & Entertaining: She enjoys playing fetch, and her funny sleeping positions will have everyone cracking up! Lilly's zest for life and playful spirit bring so much joy to our home every single day.
Motherhood: Lilly has healthy litters and is a wonderful, attentive mama. She truly enjoys her puppies and takes excellent care of them.
Great with Everyone: Lilly loves kids and other dogs! She doesn't realize her small size and thinks she's a big dog with them. She's never timid and loves being part of the pack wherever she goes.

About Jenny: Jenny is one of our own lines here at Rocky Mountain Yorkies. She is the daughter of our beautiful Dolly and sired by Tucker from Designer Yorkies. She is a little love bug with a heart full of devotion.
Personality: Jenny loves being right with her person and is a true one-on-one companion. She's my daughter's little shadow and is always by her side. She loves going to town with us and knows the sound of when we're getting ready to go — she immediately finds us and waits at the door.
Beauty & Color: Jenny is a very pretty girl with big, expressive eyes that melt your heart. We love her rich, vibrant colors! She consistently produces puppies with beautiful black and gold coats, and the gold stays true and golden — not fading to blue and tan.
Motherhood: Jenny is a wonderful mother and has had excellent luck with all of her litters. She takes amazing care of her babies and passes on her sweet nature and stunning looks.

Personality & Energy: Belle has a muscular, athletic body and an incredible zest for life! We are always amazed at how quick she can run and how high she can jump! But once inside, she settles right down and loves her cozy bed and favorite blanket.

Personality: Jasmine is a wonderful friend who bonds deeply one-on-one. She is sweet and kind to everyone, but she definitely has that special connection with her person. She is the definition of a Yorkie — confident, loving, and full of charm.
Motherhood: Jasmine is an exceptional mama. She takes excellent care of her babies and raises healthy, happy puppies. She typically has beautiful black and gold puppies that are as stunning as she is.

Mia

About Mia: Mia is one of our own Rocky Mountain Yorkies. Her mom is Dolly and her dad is Rocky. She will be having her first litter in 2026, and we are so excited for her beautiful puppies!
Personality: Mia has an excellent temperament and is the perfect mix of spunky and sweet. She loves exploring new things and has that little cute mischievous look about her, but is so sweet and will drag her toy just to sit on your lap and be with you.
Toy Lover: She loves her toys and has a favorite toy that she loves to drag around the house. It goes everywhere with her!
Beautiful Girl: Mia has gorgeous, big princess-type eyes and beautiful hair that doesn't mat or tangle easily. It brushes out wonderfully and shines beautifully.
Good Conformation: Mia has good conformation, a compact and proportionate body, and we are so excited for her to be one of our new mamas.

Personality: Scout has a sweet, gentle personality and is a little more shy. She loves one-on-one attention and is a true little homebody. She enjoys being up high and loves to be close to her people. She is smart, obedient, and very gentle with children.
Her Favorite Place: Scout loves her little cave bed where she feels safe and secure. She also loves being up high on a chair or couch where she can keep an eye on things.
With People: Scout is very loving and loves being one-on-one. She loves treats and really enjoys spending time with her family.
